Leaving for vacation this week

Passports, camera, extra batteries, warm coat, transfer funds from vacation account to checking account- there's plenty to do and remember in the last few days before our vacation. We have both had dreams already that we left our passports at home!

Work days are long for me these days. I am so tired that it's tough to get through the day even with my lunch time naps. I have self-diagnosed anemia based on my symptoms and what I have read online so far. I have so many of the symptoms that I am certain that my doctor will confirm it at my Wednesday morning appointment. Yay, more vitamins to buy. Meanwhile, I continue to be repulsed by the grocery store and by cooking which means destruction to our food budget. But I managed to do both tonight, if you call preparing a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese cooking. It's all I could muster because it's all that sounded good! So go easy on me.

We got a free newborn size diaper in the mail from Pampers. Gee, how generous of them. I'm figuring it probably won't hurt them much in the long run since we'll be spending a small fortune in diapers before it's all said and done. Anyone have any experience with potty training at, say, 3 months?? Ha ha...let the fun begin...

FOR REALS, a book called To Train Up a Child by Mike and Debi Pearl totally talks about potty training infants!!! It is a very good book even if you don't do that. That and cloth diapers that are way easier to use than way back in the day. Just suggesting! Overwhelming tiredness is totally normal, as are repulsions. I'm sorry, but can also confirm that it will pass, usually in just a couple months! Good luck!

No, but I do know a lady in my church that had a little girl she babysat potty trained at 10 months! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself!!! Incredible! Babies are amazing and so absorbent. My husband's cousin taught her little girl to read and do simple math while communicating via sign language before she was 1 year!! You're very creative, so I'll be looking forward to reading about the adventures you have with the little gazelle.

Actually, if you just type in "infant potty training" in yahoo or something, you'll be surprised that there is actually a method. Lol, you can even start 'em as early as 3 weeks old!

I have heard of such sects that believe in potty training from birth. Wow...pretty crazy stuff!
