Good Food, Good Friends

Just had a nice evening at home with friends. Two of my favorite things are good company and good food. We enjoyed one of our favorite desserts tonight, introducing it for the first time to two of our friends who were present. Fried Ice Cream. Y-U-M. It's funny to tell people we're having fried ice cream for dessert, they don't say much, but they're trying to figure out how that works.
So in case you've never had it, I'll share the "secret."

Fried Ice Cream

You'll need:

A cookie sheet
Vanilla Ice Cream
Frosted Flakes
Honey
Fresh Sliced Strawberries (or other fruit of choice)
Whipped Cream

Directions:
Crunch up Frosted Flakes and pour out onto cookie sheet. Scoop nice round scoops of vanilla ice cream and roll on Frosted Flakes until coated. Place desired number of flake coated scoops in a bowl, then drizzle with honey. Top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Eat and repeat.
Best when enjoyed with friends.
