It had been 7 months since I had packed a suitcase and hit the road. My backside is so sore from driving all weekend that I've decided to wait another 7 months before I go anywhere.
I do not travel well.
And since my job involves excessive sitting, I'm getting no relief today.

I, for one, appreciate your traveling this weekend to the wedding. Thank you so much for coming. We had a great time! I think it was worth a little soreness on the backside, don't you?

Indeed it was worth my sore backside, as I have the most splediforous family ever! (yes, I just made up a word.) We should surely get together again sooner rather than later.

splediforous (adj.)

1. Of, or having to do with, a little known tradition (known as spledifory), employed by many of a small, almost obscure, race of non-native Americans, found almost exclusively in modern day California, in which family members, who've not seen each other in a very long time, kick each other in the posterior. According to this bizarre tradition, the sorer your backside is by the time you've re-acquainted with all family members, the more loved you are!

(I must admit-I don't understand?!?!)

I had no idea your first literary work was your very own dictionary! This is sure to be a delightfully humorous work.
I must say though: the posterior soreness came more from sitting and eating too much rather than participating in any "splendifory"!

AH! Ok! I understand! I'll be sure to adjust the definition!

In case you can't tell-I LOVE the blog! Keep it up!

Yes!! You're presence at my affair made it all the merrier. Your sacrifice was immensely appreciated. :)
